Before starting your peel journey, we require a consultation and patch test to ensure treatment is safe and suitable for your skin. During this appointment we’ll discuss your skin concerns, medical history, and treatment goals, followed by a small patch test of our peel solutions. This allows us to check your skin’s response and create a tailored treatment plan for you.
(Required at least 24 hours before your first peel treatment.)

How the Test Is Done:
– A very small amount of each peel will be applied to the skin (usually behind the ear, jawline, or inner arm).
– The product will remain on the skin for a short time, then removed/neutralised according to manufacturer instructions.
– The areas will be observed straight after, and you’ll be asked to monitor them at home for the next 48–72 hours.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

What’s the difference between filler and Botox?
Dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments (commonly known as Botox) work in different ways. Fillers are used to restore volume, enhance features, and smooth deeper lines, while Botox relaxes muscles to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines and crow’s feet. Why do I need a prescription and for which treatments?

How do I prepare for my appointment?
We recommend arriving with clean skin and avoiding alcohol, blood-thinning medications (if appropriate), and intense exercise 24 hours before your appointment. What happens if I stop getting treatments?
Should you choose to discontinue treatments, there’s no sudden change — your appearance will gently return to its natural look over time. Fillers and anti-wrinkle injections are temporary and naturally wear off. To keep your results looking their best, ongoing maintenance is needed.
Can I fly after having aesthetic treatments?
In most cases, flying is safe after treatment. However, we generally recommend waiting 72 hours, especially after injectable treatments, to allow any swelling to settle and reduce the risk of complications, such as vascular occlusion or any infections. If there are any complications this allows us time to react appropriately.
What qualifications should my practitioner have?
Your practitioner should be appropriately qualified, fully trained, and experienced in delivering aesthetic treatments. They must hold valid insurance, adhere to current safety standards, and practice in line with all regulatory and professional guidelines. Ongoing advanced training is essential to ensure they remain up to date with the latest techniques, products, and best practices.
Ideally, choose a clinic with an on-site prescriber who is legally qualified to prescribe prescription only medications when required. This allows for seamless treatment planning, enhanced safety, and timely access to medical support where necessary.
