What to do before, during, and after getting any injectables is essential to optimise your individual results .

Despite Anti-Aging, Dermal Fillers and other injectable treatments being non-invasive with little to no downtime, we recommend a few pre and post guidelines for achieving optimal result and avoiding complications

General Recommendations

Please note that aesthetics treatments cannot be carried out if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Prior to booking an appointment with M.Rituals & Aesthetics, we ask all clients to complete an in-depth Consultation Form. We ask that clients complete their medical and aesthetic history as truthfully as possible as withholding medical information may be detrimental to the safe and optimal outcome of any treatment(s). If there are any changes to your medical history at any time, please inform M.Rituals & Aesthetics immediately.

If you have previously suffered from cold sores, there is a risk that needle punctures could contribute to another eruption. Please let your practitioner know prior to your treatment.

Pre-Care

Avoid alcohol 48-hours prior your treatment
Avoid blood thinning medication one week prior to your treatment
To minimise bruising and swelling, we recommend arnica tablets and antihistamine three days leading to your appointment

Post-Care

Keep hydrated and drink at least 2 litres of water
Avoid alcohol for 48-hours post-treatment
Avoid massaging and touching the treated area for 48-hours
Avoid sunbeds, direct sunlight and excessive heat for 2 weeks
Avoid excessive exercise for 48-hours post-treatment
Do not smoke or apply make-up for at least 24 hours post-treatment
If any abnormal swelling or intense pain appears, please get in touch with us immediately
